Bruno Mars Pleads Guilty To Possession Charge

Grammy winning pop singer and songwriter Bruno Mars plead guilty to Cocaine possession Wednesday in Las Vegas District Court. The singer was arrested at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in September after being detained by hotel security in a mens bathroom where an attendant had reported suspicious activity. He was booked into county jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept. says the singer was carrying 2.6 grams of cocaine.
Mars, whose real name is Peter Hernandez, was placed on one year of informal probation. He must pay a $2,000 fine, perform 200 hours of community service, attend drug counseling and stay out of trouble.
"Just The Way You Are," the lead single off his debut album, "Doo Wops and Hooligans," was named the winner in the Best Male Pop Vocal category at the Grammys last week. Mars prevailed over Michael Buble, John Mayer, Adam Lambert and the late Michael Jackson to win the Grammy.

The moral of this story and all of the previous celebrity arrest reports is ; If you want to get high in Vegas, do it in your room! If you get hammered, call a limo...
